MSI's high-end model is designed for the most demanding users. It is the ideal choice for high-performance gaming PCs that are used for the latest games or professional applications with multimedia content.
Ideal Motherboard for Unmatched Performance
The MSI Gaming Z170A M9 ACK is equipped with a LGA 1151 socket for the latest 14 nM Skylake processors. It also features four (4x) DDR4 slots that are protected against electromagnetic interference. DDR4 slots support a 2400MHz frequency but reach up to 3600MHz under full load.
Overclocking is generally very easy. It is aided by both the PCB design and the sophisticated Click BIOS 5, dedicated overclocking utilities and drivers, including a potentiometer for power control. It also has a set of heatsinks that can be connected to a water cooling system. This motherboard allows you to push overclocking as far as you want to take it and allows you to load overclocking profiles if you ever need to restore previous settings.
