Kvalitní objektiv s pevným ohniskem a vysokou světelností, určený pro digitální zrcadlovky Nikon formátu DX (APS-C). Objektiv je malý, lehký a také levný, přitom opticky velmi slušný. Vysoká světelnost je ideální pro hrátky s hloubkou ostrosti. Objektiv má kovový bajonet s gumovým těsněním a v ceně je zahrnuta i sluneční clona a měkké pouzdro.

Jediným a spíše pouze teoretickým nedostatkem může být absence jakékoli stupnice.
