The NIL Balance chopping board is a practical kitchen assistant with a clean design and an innovative biomaterial made partly from food production by-products, such as corn stalks and husks. It offers a shaped edge for easy transferring of chopped ingredients, non-slip feet for stability during cutting, and space-saving upright storage on your kitchen worktop. The NIL Balance chopping board is dishwasher safe, gentle on knife blades, and fully compostable at the end of its life.
The NIL Balance chopping board combines elegant design, practical features, and an innovative, future-conscious material. Thanks to the shaped edge, you can easily slide chopped ingredients straight into the pan, and pop the board in the dishwasher once you finish cooking. Non-slip feet ensure stability when slicing, and upright storage saves space on your kitchen worktop. Every detail serves a purpose, making daily food preparation easier with the NIL Balance chopping board.
The NIL Balance chopping board consists of an innovative biomaterial that partially uses corn stalks and husks – food production by-products that find a new lease of life. The board contains no microplastics and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Unlike conventional plastic boards, it is also fully compostable at the end of its life.
The NIL brand brings a fresh perspective to kitchen accessories and their environmental impact. Its goal is to reduce plastic waste through functional and aesthetic products made from innovative bio-based materials. When designing them, the brand considers the entire lifecycle, from the origin of the raw materials used to the end of their life. The name NIL comes from the idea "Nothing Is Left", capturing the effort to use resources wisely and create products that leave a smaller footprint.
