nJoy Keen 600 USB

nJoy Keen 600 USB
The nJoy Keen 600 USB backup power supply uses line-interactive topology and delivers an apparent power of 600VA, or a real power of 360W. At half load (180W), it powers connected devices for 5 minutes; at full load, the backup time is less than one minute. Thanks to its automatic voltage regulation (AVR), it actively stabilises fluctuating mains voltage without switching to battery power. This backup power supply with USB communication protects sensitive electronics from mains instability and short-term power outages. Its compact tower design, measuring 165 × 87 × 276mm, and quiet operation at under 40dB make it suitable for office or home use.
Key features of the nJoy Keen 600 USB backup power supply
- Uses line-interactive topology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
- Offers a compact tower design with quiet operation under 40dB
- Includes a USB communication interface for management and monitoring
- Provides separate surge protection for the data network (RJ-45) and telephone line (RJ-11)
- Cold start feature allows startup from the battery without mains power
- Supports automatic Auto-Restart and Auto-Charge functions
Voltage stabilisation and power
The line-interactive topology uses automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which corrects undervoltage and overvoltage without switching to the battery. The power supply operates with an input voltage range of 162 to 290VAC and provides a stabilised 230VAC output. AVR thus extends battery life and maintains smooth operation of connected appliances. The simulated sine wave output in battery mode is suitable for the switched-mode power supplies found in common electronics.
Battery and protection
At its core is a single GP07122L battery, which takes 6 hours to charge to 90% capacity. The Auto-Charge and Off-Mode Charging functions keep the battery in optimal condition and recharge it automatically, even when the UPS is switched off. The cold start function starts the power supply directly from the battery without needing to be connected to the mains. When power is restored, Auto-Restart is activated. Integrated protection features safeguard against damage from overload, short circuit, overvoltage, deep discharge, and battery overcharging.
Management and monitoring
A USB communication interface connects the device to a computer, supporting the HID standard for easy integration without needing to install drivers on modern systems. For advanced management, the manufacturer offers the PowerMonitor utility software. This enables detailed monitoring of the backup power supply's status, such as battery charge level, current load, or input and output voltage. The software also ensures an automatic safe shutdown of the operating system during a prolonged power outage, thereby preventing data loss.
Connection options
For connecting appliances, it provides two backed-up Schuko sockets that power devices from the battery during an outage and protect them from voltage spikes. In addition to power protection, the supply also includes surge protection for data (RJ-45) and telephone (RJ-11) lines. This protects network cards, routers, or modems from damage caused by surges travelling along communication cables. The UPS itself connects to the mains via a standard fixed plug.
