The NF-A9x14 PWM fan uses an AAO frame and aerodynamic optimisations to ensure quiet operation with fully automatic speed control. The included Low-Noise Adaptor lets you reduce the maximum speed from 2500 to 1800RPM for near-silent operation with lower-power processors. Unlike competing solutions with press-fitted fins, the NH-L9i has fins that are soldered to the heat pipes, which eliminates the risk of joints loosening due to thermal expansion and guarantees consistent performance.
