This excellent reserve was aged for several months in barrels previously used for maturing premium Single Malt Whisky. The long maturation in barrels gives this rum a magical dark mahogany colour with distinct amber highlights.

A practically perfect rum

The aroma is deep and offers a whole range of aromatic elements. Sweet molasses, spice, quality chocolate, raisins, toasted oak and vanilla combine beautifully with slightly smoky notes of coffee and nuts. The taste is balanced with a pleasant intensity from the 43% alcohol. It is pleasantly sweet, smooth and long-lasting. Opthimus 25 Sistema Solera is a practically perfect rum. Thanks to being finished in whisky casks and, above all, the craftsmanship of the rum masters at Oliver & Oliver from the Dominican Republic, it achieves a truly unique character.
