
PARALEN 500 mg suppositories contain the medicinal substance paracetamol. Paracetamol belongs to the group of drugs called analgesics, antipyretics (to control pain and reduce fever). PARALEN 500 mg suppositories are used to reduce fever and treat mild to moderate pain intensity, like a headache, toothache, painful menstruation, neuralgia (pain felt over the nerve), back pain and muscle or joint pain of non-inflammatory origin. The suppositories are separately suitable for patients with digestive disorders and for patients taking multiple medications at the same time.
Adults and adolescents (over 15 years of age):
1-2 suppositories of PARALEN 500 mg suppositories as needed several times a day at intervals
at least 4 hours.
The maximum daily dose is 8 suppositories, the highest single dose is 2 suppositories (this dose should not
should not be used by patients with a body weight of less than 50 kg).
For long-term treatment (over 10 days), do not exceed a daily dose of 5 suppositories.
Teens between the ages of 12 and 15:
1 suppository as needed several times a day at intervals of at least 6 hours. The interval can be shortened
to 4 hours if necessary, not exceeding a maximum daily dose of 6 suppositories.
Children aged 9 to 12 years:
1 suppository as needed several times a day at intervals of at least 6 hours.
Do not use PARALEN 500 mg suppositories if you are allergic to the medicine or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine, if you have severe liver disease or acute inflammation of the liver, if you have rectal bleeding, or if you have or have recently had inflammation of the rectum (proctitis). If you are not sure if any of these conditions apply to you, consult your doctor.

Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Store in the original inner packaging. Do not use this product after the expiry date marked on the packaging after the abbreviation EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment the environment.
