Active ingredients in ALAVIS joint nutrition and composition
Alavis Triple Blend Extra Strong contains a unique combination of these substances: Glucosamine Sulphate, Chondroitin Sulphate, MSM, and the branded hydrolysed collagens COLLYSS™ and CARTIDYSS™. Active substances per 1kg of powder: MSM – Methylsulfonylmethane 435g, Glucosamine Sulphate 2KCl 348g, Chondroitin Sulphate 130g, CARTIDYSS™ 5g, COLLYSS™ 3.4g, Vitamin C 4.3g.
- Glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate are natural components of articular cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulphate has a remarkable ability to bind water in tissue. This ensures the proper function of cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resilience. The mechanism of action of both these substances is shared and consists of a chondroprotective (cartilage-protecting) effect. The effect includes the regeneration of articular cartilage and tissues, and improved mobility, thereby having a significant positive impact on the animal's health.
- Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM – is a natural substance containing organically bound sulphur, which is involved in the process of collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, and has a relaxing and regenerative effect on muscles. MSM contributes not only to reducing joint pain but also, thanks to its antioxidant and detoxifying effects, to the breakdown of damaged tissue. To suppress pain, it is advisable to use MSM in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, where better wound healing has also been observed. MSM has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory and anti-oedematous effect. It is also used to relieve muscle pain, muscle spasms and tendon pain.
- COLLYSS™ - the highest quality type I collagen – is found in highly stressed structures such as tendons and fibrous cartilage. It is resistant to tension and is therefore very important for the strength of tendons and thus for strengthening the musculoskeletal system. This collagen is also found in bones and skin. COLLYSS™ type I collagen is a patent-produced, purified collagen hydrolysate obtained from the cartilage of marine fish.
- CARTIDYSS™ - the highest quality type II collagen – maintains the shape of the cartilage and prevents its deformation. Type II collagen is part of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to pressure. CARTIDYSS™ is a purified collagen hydrolysate obtained from the cartilage of rays.
Recommended dosage and method of use
The powder can be administered with a piece of food, mixed into feed or molasses, or given directly into the mouth. Animals usually accept the product without any problems. Administer the product for an optimal period of three months, then take a 1–3 month break and start administering the product again. Shake before use. FOR ANIMAL USE ONLY!
