Recording is done in MP3 or lossless PCM (WAV) formats, allowing you to choose the ideal balance between file size and maximum sound quality. The 8GB of integrated memory provides ample space for many hours of recordings, and the capacity can be expanded by up to an additional 32GB using a microSD memory card. The voice-activated recording (VOR) feature automatically starts recording when it detects a voice, thereby saving memory space and battery power.
Speech-to-Text Conversion Using Artificial Intelligence
A major advantage offered by the PHILIPS DVT2015 voice recorder is its support for the Sembly AI Speech-to-Text cloud service. After uploading your audio files to the service, the speech is automatically converted into text, up to three times faster than manual transcription. The software can create meeting minutes, recognise multiple speakers, and makes it easy to share transcripts in PDF or Markdown format. Both transcripts and recordings can be easily shared via a link, which can be password-protected.

Using the PHILIPS DVT2015 voice recorder does not require any software installation. After connecting it to a computer via USB-C, it works instantly using the Plug & Play methour The clear backlit display makes it easy to navigate through your recordings, even in low-light conditions. It also features an input for an external microphone, a 3.5mm headphone output, and is powered by two AAA batteries, which ensure a long operating time.
