Pinnacle Studio 21
The introductory chapter of Pinnacle Studio 21 introduces you to its environment, the basic setup of the program, what a project is and how to work with it. We'll also talk about video import, which is getting easier and faster thanks to modern cameras that record video to hard drives and memory cards. The next chapter describes video editing on the timeline, both the video and audio components. You'll learn how to compose a movie, how to select scenes for your video, how to adjust the length of your video, and how to edit multi-camera and 3D videos. You will also learn how to insert static images into a project and how to add transitions to a project.
One whole chapter is devoted to movie subtitles, inserting them according to the template, creating your own subtitles including 3D subtitles. The main topic of the next chapter is visual and sound effects. Learn how to assign the effect and how to select keyframes so that the effect changes as the scene is projected. Then how to work with your own comments and with the so-called. Ducking – by temporarily muting one track to hear the sound from another track. A large amount of space is devoted to the effects in the overlay track, i.e. the picture-in-picture and chromatic key.
A chapter on special effects is included in the book. It's a kind of cookbook that shows you how to use Pinnacle Studio to do the same tricks you see in many movies. The last two chapters are devoted to exporting video to the Internet and DVDs. There is also a space for the DVD menu. The book is accompanied by a small glossary of terms you may encounter in the field of video editing.
