Preparation H ointment 25 g
Preparation H is used to treat hemorrhoids. Preparation H is used to relieve the symptoms of hemorrhoids, i.e. pain, irritation and itching. Composition based on natural substances without the presence of local anaesthetics and corticosteroids. Helps relieve tissue swelling caused by inflammation to facilitate painful defecation. Preparation H rectal ointment contains the medicinal substances yeast extract (faecis extractum fluidum) and shark liver oil (selachiorum hepatis oleum). The product is intended for adult patients. Package contains 25 g.
Dosage and method of use
After gently washing and drying the rectum, apply a thin layer of rectal ointment to the sensitive area around the rectum. If necessary, the product can be applied directly into the rectum using the applicator provided. The preparation is always applied in the morning, evening and after each bowel movement. Treatment should not be discontinued immediately after the first signs of improvement appear, but should be continued for at least 5 days to achieve the full effect.
Contraindications
PREPARATION H is not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use Preparation H Rectal Ointment after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
