VERBATIM Vx500 SSD 240GB
The Verbatim Vx500 SSD external drive is designed for fast data transfers and secure storage of your digital data. With a capacity of 240GB, it effectively expands the storage space of modern devices, such as ultrabooks with limited internal memory that often lack sufficient space. It uses high-speed flash memory and a controller with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface. The absence of moving parts increases its shock resistance, and its high performance supports demanding operations, including running virtual machines directly from this storage.

High performance
The combination of high-speed flash memory and a controller optimised for the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is the foundation for rapid data operations. This fast external drive achieves read speeds of up to 500MB/s and write speeds of up to 430MB/s. This level of performance reduces the time needed for backing up or moving large files and supports smooth work with bulky data, such as high-resolution videos or extensive data libraries. Even transferring large projects takes just a few moments.
Compact and durable design
The drive's body is made of aluminium with a space grey finish. This material effectively dissipates heat generated during operation while protecting the sensitive internal components from mechanical damage during normal use. Weighing a mere 29 grams, this portable SSD with an aluminium body is built for frequent travel. Its compact form factor makes it an ideal accessory for working on the go, where it won't take up much space in your bag.
Wide compatibility
The package includes two separate cables for connecting to a wide range of devices. There is a USB-C cable for modern computers and mobile devices, as well as a USB-A cable for backward compatibility with older hardware. This setup eliminates the need to buy additional adapters and simplifies immediate use of the drive with various systems. Also included is Nero Backup software, which you can use to schedule and perform backups of your important files.
