
Ibalgin is used, for example. for headaches (including migraines of vascular origin), toothache, back, for painful menstruation, pain after surgery, for muscle and joint pain accompanying flu-like illnesses, in soft tissue injuries, such as contusions and sprains, in febrile states in influenza diseases and as an adjunctive treatment for febrile states in other diseases. In the case of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthritis and arthrosis) or soft tissues of the musculoskeletal system accompanied by pain, redness, swelling and joint stiffness, the product is used only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Ibalgin contains the medicinal substance ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of so-called. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It prevents the formation of tissue effectors, so-called. prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation and are released at the site of tissue damage. Ibuprofen relieves pain and inflammation of various origins. Ibuprofen also suppresses fever that accompanies e.g. colds.
The product is intended for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age.
The package contains 12 tablets.
Always take this medicine in accordance with the package insert.
The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest time necessary to relieve the symptoms of the disease.
Adults and adolescents (12-18 years):
Unless otherwise directed by a physician, adults and adolescents usually take 1-2 coated Ibalgin tablets 3 times daily for febrile illnesses, 1-2 coated tablets for pain, up to a maximum of 6 tablets daily divided into several doses. The interval between doses is at least 4 hours.
Children (6-12 years):
Children aged 6-12 years are given 1 coated tablet 2-3 times a day. For children with a body weight up to 30 kg, do not exceed a dose of 400 mg per day. The recommended interval between doses is 6-8 hours.
The coated tablets are swallowed whole, washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
Ibalgin is not intended for children under 6 years of age due to the amount of the medicinal substance in one tablet and the dosage form. The product must not be taken by women in the last three months of pregnancy. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. The preparation must not be administered in the last three months of pregnancy. In the first six months of pregnancy, take the product only on the express recommendation of a doctor. If you are breast-feeding, consult your physician before taking Ibalgin for a short time only. Women who wish to become pregnant must consult a doctor about taking the medicine.
