The Pro-Ject T1 EVO PHONO + OM10 turntable is the result of a precise manufacturing process and a selection of premium materials, boasting an elegant, stylish design and a rich, vibrant sound. The EVO suffix in the name signifies that this is an evolution of the older, acclaimed T1 turntable range. The EVO model was designed with an emphasis on both improving user convenience (by adding electronic speed switching) and enhancing sound quality with the pre-installed Ortofon OM10 cartridge (previously the OM5). No plastic parts were used in the manufacture of the chassis, and it is meticulously crafted to be completely solid with no hollow spaces. This effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations. The T1 EVO turntable is fitted with a heavy, zero-resonance glass platter. The design results in the perfect elimination of resonances common in other budget solutions that use plastic, aluminium, or other lightweight platters. The specially selected feet ensure optimal isolation of the turntable from ambient vibrations and reduce the possibility of acoustic feedback. The belt from the T1 EVO's motor drives a new, larger sub-platter, which sits in an ultra-precise (0.001mm) main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. This sophisticated drive system is the foundation for the anti-resonance platform, which ensures the smooth and stable platter rotation necessary for the tonearm and stylus to track the groove accurately.

Precision tonearm and quality cartridge

The straight tonearm is based on proven Pro-Ject designs. An effective length of 8.6 inches, a rigid one-piece aluminium construction, and an excellent low-friction bearing are crucial aspects for tracking accuracy. The headshell is integrated into the tonearm, and in addition to its elegant appearance, this design prevents vibrations, offering a significant improvement over commonly used detachable, glued, or otherwise mounted headshells. The T1 EVO turntable comes with a high-quality Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge pre-installed, featuring an elliptical diamond stylus that delivers a lively and precise Hi-Fi sound, which is certainly not standard in this price category.

Plug & Play installation with no setup required

The T1 EVO turntable is delivered from the factory with the cartridge correctly aligned and the tracking force already set. After unpacking the turntable, simply place the drive belt on the sub-platter, fit the glass platter with the felt mat, and attach the dust cover (all included). No further setup is required by the user. Simply connect the turntable to an amplifier. Also included is a hard-wired, highly shielded phono cable with a semi-symmetrical geometry, low capacitance, and RCA termination, designed by Pro-Ject.
