The Rabalux Hardin lamp offers flexible mains or USB power, so you can plug it into a standard socket or power it directly from your computer or a power bank. All functions, including dimming and changing the light temperature, are controlled via the power switch. The IP20 protection rating indicates protection against the ingress of solid objects with a diameter greater than 12.5mm, but it does not protect against water. The lamp is therefore intended exclusively for use in dry indoor environments.
Luminous flux is a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted by a light source and is expressed in lumens (lm). Higher luminous flux means higher light output. This parameter is important when choosing a luminaire because it affects how bright the lighting in a space will be.
Maximum chromaticity refers to the highest level of colour tone that a light source can achieve. This value is crucial for spaces where brighter, crisper light with a higher colour temperature is required, such as work areas, kitchens or places where maximum visibility is needed.
The ingress protection (IP) is an internationally standardised code that identifies the resistance of electrical appliances against the ingress of foreign items and liquids, especially water. It is expressed in the so-called IP code, which consists of the "IP" followed by two digits: the first indicates the protection against dangerous contact and foreign objects, the second indicates the degree of protection against water ingress.
Energy class of an appliance determines the amount of energy consumed by the electric appliance used within the European Union. Energy classes are defined by the EU and individual members of countries incorporate them into their legislation. From September 21, 2021, a new energy class ranging from A to G is applicable.
The length of time (according to the manufacturer) the lightbulb will shine, under the ideal conditions. This value is also affected by how many times it is turned on – frequent switching on and off reduces the lifetime.
