The JBL Tour One M3 Smart TX wireless headphones with a closed-back, over-ear design offer a listening experience with active noise cancellation. You can connect them wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 technology or wired via USB-C and an analogue 3.5mm jack connector. The package includes a unique JBL Smart TX audio transmitter with a touchscreen, which expands the connectivity options. The headphones' built-in battery offers up to 70 hours of continuous playback without active noise cancellation. With ANC turned on, the battery life drops to 40 hours, and they can be charged in 2 hours.

Sound parameters and drivers

The headphones use 40mm dynamic drivers with a mica dome, complemented by a built-in DAC converter. A wired connection via a USB-C cable provides lossless signal transmission with low distortion. For wireless transmission, you can use LDAC technology, which transmits three times more data than standard codecs. You can adjust the sound profile in the companion app using a twelve-band equaliser and the Personi-Fi function, precisely tailored to your own hearing. The frequency range of the drivers is from 10Hz to 40,000Hz.

Adaptive ambient noise cancellation

True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 technology dampens unwanted ambient sounds in real time. The system uses a total of 8 microphones located on both the outside and inside of the earcups. Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes maintain contact with your surroundings. These functions let in voices and important sounds without having to take the headphones off. You can adjust the level of attenuation directly in the mobile app.

Battery life and fast charging

The integrated 850mAh battery provides a long operating time on a single charge. Without active noise cancellation, the headphones can play for up to 70 hours. With the ANC function switched on, the operating time is reduced to 40 hours. When the battery is low, just 5 minutes of charging will give you enough power for 5 hours of further listening. It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge the battery.

Microphones and voice calls

Four directional microphones with beamforming technology and an AI algorithm eliminate echoes and ambient noise during phone calls. The VoiceAware function allows you to adjust the volume of your own voice that you hear in the headphones. Certification for the Zoom platform confirms reliability for work video conferences. The Smart Talk function automatically mutes the music being played and activates the passthrough mode as soon as you start talking. This allows voice calls to take place without the need for manual control.

The universal JBL Smart TX Bluetooth transmitter with a touchscreen serves as both an external sound card and a control centre. You can connect it to analogue and digital audio sources using the included cables. The transmitter's integrated battery can last for up to 18 hours of operation on a single charge. You can easily adjust the equaliser or volume settings via the touchscreen without using your mobile phone. In addition, Auracast technology allows you to share audio with other compatible headphones within range.
