SSI 2800BL
The helper for perfectly ironed laundry
The SSI 2800BL steam iron with a ceramic soleplate is characterised by its durability and even heat distribution. The appliance has many useful features and a steam system with a steam output of 15g/min. However, its power input does not exceed 2,000W, so its energy efficiency will please every user. Thanks to the iron's well-designed steam system, you can also use the vertical steaming option. This is particularly useful for ironing curtains, shirts, dresses or other garments made of very delicate materials.
- Ceramic soleplate for even heat distribution
- Steam system and vertical steaming option
- Self-Clean system to remove deposits
- Anti-Calc system to prevent limescale build-up
- Drip-Stop function to prevent water spots
- Spraying and steaming functions
- Indicator light for temperature control
- Transparent tank for easy water level monitoring
- Energy-efficient operation
Self-cleaning for a longer lifespan
To remove calcium deposits, the iron is equipped with a Self-Clean system. This function rids the product of all deposits. When the Self-Clean programme is started, hot water and, with it, unwanted calcium deposits are released from the soleplate. This procedure will extend the life of your household helper in the long term.
Anti-Calc system
Limescale tends to build up in places where water is stored. For this reason, the product is equipped with an Anti-Calc system, which prevents the formation of limescale in the soleplate holes. Between the water tank and the soleplate, there is a permanent Anti-Calc filter that mechanically prevents the formation of deposits.
Drip-Stop and temperature control
The Drip-Stop function prevents water droplet stains on fabrics. When ironing at lower temperatures, the liquid tends to drip from the iron. However, this function prevents water vapour from condensing, thereby eliminating subsequent dripping from the soleplate. An indicator light allows you to constantly monitor the ironing temperature setting. Once you set the desired ironing temperature on the rotary dial, the indicator light signalling that the appliance is heating up will illuminate. It automatically switches off when the desired temperature is reached.
Steaming, spraying and easy filling
The iron is equipped with both spraying and steaming functions. For the most comfortable work, a water tank has also been integrated into the appliance. It has a volume of 220ml and the inlet is designed to be very easy to fill. As it is made of transparent plastic, you will always know exactly how much water you have left for ironing.
