The white and red light is switched by holding the button for 1.2 seconds, while a short press cycles through the light modes. The Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 headlamp is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh and long life. With short presses, you can easily switch between the modes, which repeat in cycles. The smooth light cone of the Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 headlamp reaches 5/50/150/400/1600 lumens. Press the side button for 1.2 seconds to switch between white and red light. Two power levels 1 and 10 lumens are available in red light mode. When the Fenix headlamp is switched off, press and hold the button for 0.5 seconds to switch to the last used mode (except for the highest power).

The Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 works without any problems even in extreme temperatures from -35 °C to 45 °C. The headlamp is equipped with overheat protection. This is implemented here for when you are shining on high modes for long periods of time. Such high power generates a considerable amount of heat. When the Fenix headlamp reaches a temperature of 65°C or higher, the power is automatically reduced to lower the temperature.
High-capacity battery with status indication
The rechargeable Li-Ion 3400 mAh battery provides enough power for up to 400 hours of illumination. When the headlamp is switched off, pressing the button for 3 seconds only activates the status indication.so you know how much power is left in the battery. A steady green light indicates 100-85%, a green flash indicates 85-50%, a red light indicates 50-25% and a red flash indicates 25% or less. The battery is charged via a magnetic charger or you can also use USB-C. Optionally, the Fenix HM61R headlamp can be powered by two disposable CR123A lithium batteries.The headlamp alerts you when the battery level drops and automatically switches to lower power modes. Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 can be locked against unwanted switching on.
