Garmin introduces another high-quality sports watch to the market, this time with the vívoactive 3. The key element to this watch is the combination of stylish looks and versatile sports features.
Smart next-generation sports watch
For the first time ever, the third generation of the vívoactive watch series offers a comfortable round dial filled with a touch screen of 1.2" diagonal and is also thinner and lighter, a plus for continuous wear. You'll find a classic button placed on the right side, similarly placed to where the most common crown position is on classic watches. However, it is possible to rotate the display and thus have a button on the left.
Measuring heart rate and distance using GPS
On the underside of the watch is a Garmin Elevate Sensor for measuring your heartbeat directly from your wrist. Of course, there is a GPS integration that ensures maximum positioning accuracy.
A wide range of sports
Garmin vívoactive 3 can handle over 15 sports profiles with total ease. This group includes walking, running (outdoors and indoors), cycling, in-line skating, swimming in the pool, skiing (downhill and cross-country skiing), golf, rowing or yoga.
Daily training with Garmin Connect
Everyone wants to see their recorded data after training. Garmin Connectis available as a website or mobile smartphone application. The application is completely free and offers high added value and is also popular with the most demanding athletes.
Key features of the vívoactive VW 3
Stylish, sports-focused smart watch.
Easy to read Garmin Chroma display.
It lasts up to 13 hours with the GPS on and for about 8 days in smart watch mode.
Integrated Garmin PAY technology for wireless payments.
View incoming notifications from a smartphone (messages, calls) and control a music player or a Garmin Virb action camera.
Chest strap heart rate measurement provides a more accurate and stable record of heart rate during physical activity compared to wrist measurement. The smartwatch can be paired with a chest strap via Bluetooth or ANT+ to improve heart rate monitoring, making it ideal for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
The operating system (OS) of a watch is the underlying software that controls all the functions of a smartwatch, including apps, communications, display and sensors. The watch's OS determines what apps you can install, how the watch controls itself, and how it interacts with other devices.
