A Fitness and Chore Tracker for Children
The Garmin vívofit Jr.2 Fitness Tracker for children (with First Order theme) has many features that both kids and parents will appreciate. It shows children not only the time, but also how active they have been throughout the day. Parents can use these watches to assign chores, responsibilities and homework and then reward children when the task has been done. The watch will alert children of when the task must be done by giving an audible signal and a picture or text.

Monitoring of Children's Activity
Garmin vivofit fitness watches count how many steps have been taken and how far your child walks per day. It also measures how many minutes a day children spend on healthy exercise and shows whether they have met their daily goal. Parents can see a timeline chart on their mobile phone and have an overview of when their children are most active and when they are doing less.
Chores and Rewards
Another interesting feature is assigning tasks and giving rewards for performance of tasks. Parents can choose from many pre-set responsibilities in the app or create new ones. It can be, for example, cleaning rooms, helping in the kitchen, practising a musical instrument, vacuuming, etc. You can use the app to set how often children have to fulfil their obligations.
Rewarding and Motivating
Assign tasks and chores from the app and designate a reward virtual coin value. Those in-app coins can be redeemed by your kiddos for agreed-upon rewards. Parents uncheck the task in the app and the children will then be shown on the watch display how many coins they have received. They can then turn the accumulated coins into one of the rewards that parents define in their mobile app. This could be a sweet, a new toy, a visit to the zoo, a movie, etc.
Mobile App
For proper functioning it is necessary to connect the watch with the Garmin vívofit junior mobile phone app via Bluetooth. The parents create a profile with a name and picture for each child. Once paired, the stored data is synchronized and transferred between the phone and the watch whenever the parent's phone is within range. Parents can conveniently monitor the fulfilment of assigned tasks and the child's daily activity. The watch is powered by a replaceable battery that lasts up to 1 year without having to recharge regularly.
