A switch is an active network element connecting individual devices or other network elements. It is designed for managing network traffic. The STRONG SW5000P is supposed to be placed on the work desk or wall. This type features a switching capacity of 10 Gb/s. The Switch features 5 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. 10/100/1000Base-T technology allows data transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. The switch dimensions are 92 × 51 × 21.5mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology makes sure the switch stays within its capacity, and it also lets you control end station priority. The weight of the switch is 62g.
