Medicinal product Tantum Verde Orange and Honey
Tantum Verde Orange and Honey lozenges treat pain and inflammation in the throat and mouth. They can be used by adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. They are also suitable for patients with diabetes (they do not contain sugar). During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of lozenges is not advisable.
When to use Tantum Verde Orange and Honey?
Pain and inflammation in the throat
- Treats pain and swelling
- In tonsillitis
- In pharyngitis
Inflammation of the oral cavity
- For gingivitis
- In periodontal disease
- Treats aphthae
Pain after surgical procedures
- After dental treatment (tearing of molars)
- After plucking almonds
Dosage
The lozenge is allowed to dissolve freely in the mouth. If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you feel worse, you need to consult a doctor. Do not take for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
- Adults and children 6 years of age and older take 1 lozenge up to 3 times daily unless otherwise directed by a physician.
Ingredients
The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg in one lozenge.
Excipients are: isomalt (E 953), citric acid monohydrate, orange aroma (contains the allergenic fragrance citral, citronellol, limonen, geraniol and linalool) and a liquid honey aroma, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium, quinoline yellow (E 104), orange yellow (E 110).
Notice
Tantum Verde Orange and Honey contains benzydamine hydrochloride. A medicine for local use in the mouth and throat. Read the package insert carefully. If you have bronchial asthma, you may experience bronchospasm (narrowing of the bronchial tubes). The product contains orange yellow, which can cause allergic reactions. In addition, the preparation contains isomalt, to be taken into account in case of intolerance to certain sugars. The allergenic fragrances contained may cause an allergic reaction.
