Technics SL-1500CEG-W
The SL-1500C is a complete turntable system. It comes equipped with a built-in phono equaliser and cartridge. There's no need to prepare anything separately, as it connects easily to a wide range of audio devices. The direct-drive system minimises motor vibrations, ensuring an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and long-term reliability without the need for frequent part replacements. As a fundamental component for preventing vibrations, the SL-1500C chassis features the robust construction found in high-end turntables. The highly acclaimed MM cartridge from Ortofon has been chosen for its high-fidelity sound and more dynamic playback. Combining this top-quality cartridge with the performance of the SL-1500C maximises sound quality.
Key features of the Technics SL-1500CEG-W turntable
- Coreless direct-drive motor for precise and stable rotation
- Built-in phono equaliser and Ortofon 2M Red cartridge
- Automatic tonearm lift function
- S-shaped statically balanced tonearm
- Two-layer chassis construction and damped platter
- Simple and elegant design
Automatic tonearm lift function
When the tonearm reaches the end of the record, the Auto Lifter function automatically raises the stylus. This prevents unnecessary wear on your valuable vinyl records and stylus. Integrating the Auto Lifter function into the base of the tonearm eliminates any direct impact on the arm itself. Thanks to a simple design that doesn't use motor power, the functions needed for record playback have been reduced to an absolute minimum, resulting in simple and easy operation.
