They hold over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks, are sealed with X-rings, and let you easily adjust spring preload using a collar on the shock body. The suspension components are reinforced with extra material and feature a sturdier design. The shock towers eliminate flex to provide rigid mounting points for the body mounts. They are made of the toughest Traxxas composite material and provide the ideal amount of flex and durability even in cold weather. Thanks to numerous patented solutions, the risk of water entering the electronics is eliminated, allowing you to go for a drive regardless of the weather. Rear-wheel drive is handled by the Magnum 727 transmission, which, along with the motor, is mounted behind the rear axle to provide maximum rear tyre loading and high traction. The transmission includes a slipper clutch and a planetary differential. The adjustable Revo-Spec Torque-Control slipper clutch ensures smooth power delivery. An optimally set slip rate protects the drivetrain without reducing acceleration. The composite planetary differential features a steel ring gear and hardened steel internal gears to ensure maximum strength. The differential design distributes torque evenly between the rear wheels.

The pinion and spur gear use robust 32DP gearing to ensure reliable power transfer from the brushless motor. They come with rubber seals to prevent dirt from entering. Robust side nerf bars protect the chassis during side impacts and support the body. The Traxxas Slash 1:10 VX3 RTR RC car also comes equipped with replica BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tyres, which provide excellent off-road grip and just the right amount of slide on hard surfaces. This pulls air through the centre of the motor, lowering temperatures and maintaining consistent power. A metal housing also helps dissipate heat from the motor. The waterproof VX3 electronic brushless speed controller features modern electronics and can be powered by 2–3S LiPo batteries. It offers 3 driving profiles. Sport mode provides forward, brakes, and reverse; Race mode provides forward and brakes; and Training mode provides forward with power limited to 50%, brakes, and reverse also limited to 50%. The controller supports telemetry. Braking is more linear, with higher resolution and precision, ensuring a more natural feel when slowing down.

The Traxxas TQi Sport 2.4GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe driving without signal dropouts. Easily pair it with a single button, and keep track of its status via the LED indicator. The receiver features 3-axis MEMS sensors that detect position and movement. Control the Traxxas Slash 1:10 VX3 RTR RC car using the Traxxas TQi Sport 2-channel proportional steering wheel transmitter operating on the 2.4GHz band, which ensures interference-free operation. Four AA batteries power the transmitter. Adjust steering trim easily using the rotary knob. Set channel reverse, endpoints, TSM on/off, and model type with a single button. It also features precise control mechanics, a foam steering wheel, and a removable grip for smaller hands.
Stabilisation system for an even better driving experience
The Traxxas Stability Management system lets you enjoy high performance, speed, acceleration, and high-speed cornering, whilst making control easier on slippery surfaces like dust, smooth concrete, ice, and snow. The receiver features a MEMS 3-axis gyro and accelerometer, which evaluates the model's movement 100 times per second and adjusts the steering of the front wheels to correct its direction. The stabilisation system does not limit engine power, and you can easily turn it on and off using the TQi Sport transmitter.
