- Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that, when combined with astaxanthin, can be up to 6,000 times more effective than vitamin C. This natural vitamin E is obtained from the raw fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis Guineensis) in the form of a mixture of tocopherols and tocotrienols. While tocopherols are commonly present in seeds and nuts, tocotrienols are much rarer and have a much higher effectiveness in protecting against oxidative damage to the body.
