The BlackView XPLORE 1 mobile phone is an exceptionally durable 5G smartphone ready for fieldwork, long expeditions, and demanding everyday use. It combines IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H durability with a huge 20000mAh battery, a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, and a pair of displays. The main 6.78" screen is complemented by a practical rear display, the triple camera setup includes a separate night vision camera, and its features are expanded by a dual LED torch, infrared remote control, NFC, precise dual-band navigation, and the Doke AI function.
The BlackView XPLORE 1 is designed for environments where a regular phone might not hold up. The IP68 and IP69K certifications confirm enhanced protection against water, dust, and high-pressure water, while the MIL-STD-810H standard proves its readiness for shocks, drops, and significant temperature changes. The construction uses reinforced corners, a sealed connector, metal elements, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone can handle submersion in water up to 2 metres deep for 30 minutes and drops from a height of up to 1.5 metres.
The main 6.78" IPS display offers a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels, a brightness of up to 700 nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, which contributes to faster responses in both gaming and general use. The image remains smooth when scrolling, gaming, and watching videos. TÜV SÜD Low Blue Light certification helps to reduce blue light, and reading, night light, and dark modes are also available.
On the back is a 2.01" multi-function display with a 240×296px resolution and Panda Glass protection, where you can check the time, weather, notifications, or step count, control music, answer calls, or use the compass. It also serves as a preview for taking selfies with the main camera and lets you choose from various clock faces.
Smooth operation is handled by the 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor with a frequency of up to 2.4GHz, a Mali-G68 MC4 graphics chip, and support for 5G mobile networks. Paired with 12GB of RAM, it handles multitasking, multimedia, and more demanding applications. The memory can be virtually expanded as needed.
For apps and files, there is 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which you can supplement with a memory card of up to 2TB. The integrated cooling system, with an area of 5480mm², helps to dissipate heat during extended gaming or heavy loads. A dedicated game mode limits distracting notifications and focuses system resources on the running game.
The 20000mAh battery provides exceptional endurance when travelling, working in the field, or away from a power source. You can replenish its energy using 55W wired fast charging. The BlackView XPLORE 1 phone also supports 45W wireless charging via an optional charging dock, which is not included in the package.
Thanks to 5W reverse charging, the BlackView XPLORE 1 can serve as a power bank for wireless headphones, smartwatches, another phone, or other USB-powered devices. Intelligent charging and power-saving algorithms ensure more efficient energy use and battery protection.
The camera setup includes a 64MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, PDAF autofocus, and four-in-one pixel binning technology. The True-Chroma Image 2.0 feature helps preserve more natural colours, and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) contributes to smoother shots. You can record video in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.
A separate 20MP Sony IMX376 night vision camera allows you to capture black and white images even in very low light or complete darkness. It is useful for checking your campsite's surroundings, observing nature, and documenting fieldwork. The 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 front camera is ready for detailed selfies, video calls, and vlogging.
A pair of integrated LEDs function as a powerful torch with a luminous flux of up to 170 lumens, a range of approximately 18 metres, and a separate SOS mode. The infrared transmitter, in turn, transforms the phone into a universal remote control for a television, air conditioning, projector, or other home electronics.
The programmable side button can be assigned to launch the torch, screen recording, screenshot, underwater camera, SOS mode, PTT, or game mode. Glove Mode 2.0 increases the touch layer's sensitivity for operation while wearing gloves, while the underwater camera mode makes photography easier when submerged within the declared water resistance limits.
The DokeOS 4.2 operating system, based on Android 15, offers gaming and focus modes, a private space, partial screen recording, improved notes and an EasyShare app for transferring files between devices. The BlackView XPLORE 1 phone also supports fingerprint and face unlock.
Doke AI integrates a voice assistant with tools for searching, working with documents, creating text, editing photos, generating videos and composing music. Selected Doke AI apps offer a 30-day trial, after which some features may require payment. The phone's features are rounded out by Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a precise gyroscope, Dual SIM, and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS navigation with L1 + L5 bands.
