VELAMP SL242

The VELAMP SL242 outdoor solar lamp is a self-sufficient solution for lighting outdoor areas without the need for electrical installation. Thanks to its monocrystalline solar panel, the integrated battery charges during the day to provide light after dark. The lamp is equipped with a motion sensor with a range of up to 6 metres and offers two lighting modes. With a high IP65 rating and a plastic construction with UV protection, it is ready for year-round operation in any weather.

Self-sufficient solar power

The lamp is completely energy self-sufficient as it is powered by the sun. A 2.8W monocrystalline solar panel handles energy collection. The panel offers high efficiency in converting sunlight into electricity, even in poor light conditions. The energy generated is stored in an integrated 3000mAh Li-Ion battery. A fully charged battery provides light for up to two-thirds of the night, with the duration depending on the intensity of sunlight during the day.

Two lighting modes with a motion sensor

You can customise the light thanks to two selectable modes. The first mode provides constant illumination. The second mode activates the light only when motion is detected. A motion sensor with a range of up to 6 metres handles the switching, covering the surrounding area. The sensor mode saves battery power, thus extending the operating time. The lamp emits a neutral white light with a temperature of 4000K and a luminous flux of 800 lumens, which is sufficient for safe orientation in the dark.

Weather-resistant design

The VELAMP SL242 lamp is designed for reliable, year-round outdoor operation. The body of the lamp is made from a combination of polycarbonate and ABS plastic. The surface is also treated with UV protection, which prevents the plastic from degrading and becoming brittle due to sun exposure. The entire construction meets the high IP65 rating. The lamp is therefore fully dust-tight and protected against jets of water from any direction. You don't have to worry about rain or snow.
