Voltaren Emulgel has a triple effect: relieves pain, reduces inflammation and reduces swelling
Voltaren Emulgel contains the medicinal substance diclofenac. It is used for the local treatment of musculoskeletal disorders that have an inflammatory or degenerative origin, i.e. to eliminate pain and inflammation of muscles and joints.

How to use Voltaren Emulgel
Voltaren Emulgel is indicated for adults and adolescents 14 years of age and older
Apply Voltaren Emulgel 3 to 4 times a day to the painful area. Gently rub a small amount of Voltaren Emulgel into the skin at the site of pain or swelling. The amount of medicine needed varies and depends on the size of the painful or swollen area. Usually, a quantity the size of a cherry or walnut is sufficient. You may feel a slight cooling effect when rubbing the gel in.
Always use this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist.
How to dose Voltaren Emulgel
Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, 2 g to 4 g of the gel is applied (the amount corresponding to the size of a cherry to a walnut).
- Cherry (approximately 400 cm2) - in post-traumatic soft tissue injuries: tendons, ties, muscles, joints (shoulder, ankle, smaller joints of the hands).
- Walnut (approximately 800 cm2, A4 = 624 cm2) - for injuries to large areas of soft tissue: thighs, back and post-traumatic knee injuries.

Reduces swelling and reduces inflammation
After application, the active ingredient diclofenac accumulates in the skin, from where it is gradually released into deeply inflamed tissues such as joints, thereby relieving pain, reducing swelling and promoting the healing process.

Voltaren Emulgel Pain Reliever Gel provides pain relief, reduces swelling and helps shorten the time to return to normal function.
Cooling effect
You may feel a slight cooling effect when rubbing Voltaren Emulgel.
