Detailed Image in 2K Resolution
The 3MP sensor captures video in a fine 2304 × 1296px resolution, rendering even small details in outdoor spaces. The optics with an above-standard f/1.6 aperture let a large amount of light reach the sensor, which improves scene rendering in low-light conditions. The wide-angle lens effectively reduces blind spots. Video compression using the H.264 format efficiently reduces data demands and saves storage space without degrading the final image.
Flexible Night Modes on the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera BW300
The camera has an intelligent night lighting system that combines infrared diodes and powerful white LED spotlights. At night, you can use the classic black and white mode with infrared illumination, which is discreet and does not disturb the surroundings. If needed, you can activate the full-colour night mode with white light, which helps to accurately identify clothing colours or vehicle registration plates.
Smart Motion Tracking, Two-Way Audio, and Alert System
Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms automatically detect movement in the field of view and activate tracking of the moving object. The system can accurately record the path of movement and send a notification to your mobile phone in real time. For advanced person recognition, an optional cloud subscription extension is available, which helps minimise false alarms caused by animals or falling leaves. The built-in high-sensitivity microphone with a range of up to 7 metres can clearly capture human voices while actively reducing unwanted background noise. Together with the integrated speaker, this gives you the ability to have smooth two-way communication with people at your door. If an intrusion is detected, the system triggers a loud audible alarm accompanied by a flashing spotlight.
Two-Way Audio and Alert System
Users get free seven-day rolling cloud storage for video recordings at no extra charge. When motion is detected, the camera automatically records a nine-second clip, which is securely saved to a remote server. All data transfers are protected by hardware encryption with an MJA1 chip and the AES-128 standard for maximum protection of your privacy. Wireless network connection is via the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, which ensures a stable signal even through exterior walls. The device is managed via the Xiaomi Home mobile app, which is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems. The camera can be easily integrated into Google Home and Amazon Alexa smart home systems for convenient viewing of the feed on compatible displays.
