This more compact 21.5" HP LCD monitor with standard Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution is ideal for working with office software, email communication, and searching for information online. Its VA panel offers deeper blacks, a result of the high contrast ratio. This will make working with text much more comfortable. The matte finish of the display surface does not reflect ambient room light and also helps against light from a window. Thanks to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you can easily open two document windows side-by-side and work with them effectively. The maximum brightness of 200cd/m² is intended for work in places protected from direct sunlight and is also suitable for spaces that are not too brightly lit. It can be mounted using a VESA 100×100 mount. You will find this useful if you have a smaller desk or a larger number of monitors. This layout is popular with people involved in trading, monitoring security camera systems, and similar tasks.

The 21.5" VA PC monitor has a flat design, which makes it easy to use several monitors at once. It is equipped with a filter that reduces the transmission of blue light, which can contribute to reducing eye fatigue and improving sleep quality. You can tilt the monitor so that its top edge corresponds to eye level, thus promoting correct posture, which relieves the cervical spine and acts as a preventative measure against scoliosis. Tilting the monitor is practical for users who work while standing.

You can connect the monitor to your computer or laptop using HDMI and VGA. If your computer does not have a suitable connector, you can expand its connectivity by purchasing a compatible port replicator. A port replicator will also be useful when you need to connect, for example, two monitors. The VGA port allows you to connect older devices. In addition to the monitor itself, an HDMI cable is also included in the package.
Colour depth refers to the number of colours that a monitor can display. For example, a monitor with a 6-bit depth can display approximately three hundred thousand colours, while a 10-bit monitor can display over a billion colours. Thanks to higher colour depth, it is possible to display finer shades and achieve more realistic and vibrant colours. The colour depth of the offered monitor is 8-bit. The HP monitor provides a native contrast of 1000:1. The native contrast ratio of a monitor reflects the difference between the brightest and darkest point displayed. If a monitor's contrast ratio is 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). A higher native contrast allows for improved detail resolution in both dark and light parts of the image. A native contrast of up to 1000:1 is primarily suitable for office purposes, while you will appreciate up to 2000:1 for gaming and watching films. A value above 2000:1 is typical for monitors ideal for graphic designers and video editing.

Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.
The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.
