The Acer PL6520 laser projector uses DLP imaging technology to project in a native 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. This professional projector is perfect for conference rooms, lecture halls and other large spaces. Its laser light source generates a brightness of 6500 ANSI lumens, so the FHD projector displays a clear image even in well-lit rooms without needing a complete blackout. HDR10 support expands the image's contrast ratio and colour palette. With its short-throw capabilities, vertical lens shift and 360° installation, this HDR projector offers a high degree of placement flexibility. The device supports continuous operation. The projector also supports 3D viewing via DLP 3D Ready and HDMI 3D Ready, including the 144Hz 24p format. A low input lag of 16.7ms contributes to a smooth response during gaming or interactive presentations.

High-luminosity picture
The image is handled by a DLP chip with a native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at a 16:9 aspect ratio, with support for the 4:3 format. The luminosity in standard mode is 6500 ANSI lumens, dropping to 4800 ANSI lumens in the power-saving ECO mode. The static contrast ratio reaches 50000:1, and HDR10 support improves the detail in both dark and light parts of the scene. The screen size size of the image is adjustable from 22" (55.9cm) to 300" (762cm). Audio is provided by two built-in 15W speakers.
Laser light source
The light source is a laser diode with a lifespan of 20000 hours in standard mode. Activating ECO mode extends this lifespan to up to 30000 hours. Power consumption is 245W at full power and 215W in ECO mode, contributing to lower running costs for long-term use.
Flexible installation and placement
The projector is in the short-throw category, with a throw ratio ranging from 1.2 to 2.04. It can create an 80" image from a distance of 2.1 metres. The 1.7× optical zoom and vertical lens shift make precise image adjustment easy without needing to physically move the device. Installation options include 360° projection, placement on a table, mounting on a ceiling or wall, and both front and rear projection. The device also supports portrait mode.
Connectivity options
For connecting signal sources and control, there are two HDMI ports and an HDBaseT interface. Connectivity is rounded off by a LAN (RJ45) port for network control, a serial RS232 port, a power USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm jack audio output.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
Native resolution determines the actual number of physical pixels on the projector's imaging chip and defines the real sharpness of the image.
