Acetocaustin Plasters for warts is a medical device for the treatment of common warts. It contains 40% salicylic acid, a substance with a keratolytic effect on the skin. It dissolves the wart layer by layer as the salicylic acid destroys the cells containing the wart virus. The advantage of Acetocaustin Plasters for warts is its painless application directly onto the wart. This means it can also be used on children, provided an adult applies it correctly.
How to use Acetocaustin Plasters for warts, 20 pcs
- Before application, soak the wart in warm water for 5 minutes
- Ensure the skin is dry, clean and free of any creams
- Remove the plaster and peel the film from the back
- Do not touch the adhesive side
- Apply the plaster so that the centre with the active ingredient is directly on the wart, and make sure the edges are smooth
- Leave the plaster in place until it starts to peel off, but for no more than 48 hours, then remove the plaster
- Repeat this procedure as needed for up to 14 days
Warning
- For pregnant women and children under 4 years of age, use only under medical supervision
- Do not use if you are diabetic, have a hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, or suffer from circulatory problems
- Do not use on genital warts or warts in the genital area
- Do not use near the eyes or on deep wounds
- Contact of healthy skin with salicylic acid may cause skin damage
- For external use only
- Keep out of the reach of small children
