Actolind w Gel is a protective and moisturizing gel for acute, chronic and infected wounds that creates a protective layer between the wound and the covering and promotes faster wound healing.
A protective, decontaminating, moisturizing gel that is designed to effectively care for and support the treatment of acute, chronic and infected wounds and burns. With antimicrobial action and a unique combination of polyhexanide and poloxamer, it offers a synergistic approach that helps provide an ideal environment for faster wound healing. The gel forms a protective barrier on the wound, which prevents the entry of harmful microorganisms. Thanks to its ability to keep the wound clean and moist, Actolind w Gel is an effective aid in preventing infection.
Composition:
Poloxamer, polyhexamethylene biguanide (polyhexanide, 0.1%) water and excipients.
Before application, it is recommended to clean the wound with an irrigation solution to remove dirt and deposits. Apply the necessary layer of gel to the wound bed. Apply the necessary covering or dressing. Actolind w Gel can remain on the surface of the wound until the next cover change. It does not prevent granulation or epithelialization.
For external use on the skin only. Do not use for infusion or injection. Patients with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients should not use the product. Don't swallow! Keep out of reach of children. Protect from sunlight.
