ALLTEST TSH Rapid Thyroid Test 1 pcs

ALLTEST TSH Rapid Thyroid Test 1 pcs
A rapid self-test for the qualitative detection of human thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in whole human blood. For in vitro diagnostics only. Designed for self-testing.

Characteristics
The TSH rapid test cassette (whole blood) is a rapid test that qualitatively determines the presence of TSH in a whole blood sample with a sensitivity of 5 μIU/mL. The TSH rapid test cassette (whole blood) is a simple test that uses a combination of monoclonal antibodies to selectively determine elevated TSH levels in whole blood.
Procedure
1. Wash your hands with soap and rinse with clean water.
2. Allow the test cartridge bag to reach room temperature before testing. Open the foil bag and remove the cartridge.
3. Carefully pull out and discard the loose lancet cover.
4. Use the alcohol wipe provided to clean the fingertip of the middle finger or ring finger as the injection site.
5. Push the lancet with the side from which the cap was removed against the fingertip (the side of the ring finger is recommended). The tip retracts automatically and securely after use.
6. Holding your hand downwards, massage the end of the finger that was stabbed to get a drop of blood.
7. Without squeezing the balloon of the capillary dropper, place it in contact with the blood. Blood flows into the capillary dropper through the capillary to the line marked on the dropper. You may need to massage your finger again to get more blood if the line has not yet been reached. Avoid air bubbles.
8. Squeeze the dropper balloon to place the collected blood into the sample well of the cartridge.
9. Wait until all the blood has been injected into the well. Unscrew the cap of the buffer container and add 2 drops of buffer to the sample well of the cartridge.
10. Wait for the coloured line(s) to appear. Read the results after 10 minutes. Don't read the results after 20 minutes
Positive
Two coloured lines appear. Both T (test) and C (control) lines will appear. This result means that the TSH level is higher than 5 μIU/mL and you should see a doctor.
Negative
One coloured line appears. Only the control line (C) appears. This result means that the TSH level is not in the range where hypothyroidism should be considered.
Invalid
The control line will not appear. Insufficient sample volume or improper procedure techniques are the most likely causes of the control line not appearing. Check the procedure and repeat the measurement with a new test. If problems persist, stop using the test kit immediately and contact your local distributor.
