The AMICA OSC5231B under-cabinet cooker hood, with a width of 50cm, is suitable for smaller kitchens up to 10m². It offers flexible installation with the option of either venting fumes out through a chimney or cleaning them via a carbon filter in recirculation mode. With a maximum extraction power of 173m³/h, it can handle everyday cooking. You can easily set the power level using the mechanical buttons across three settings. The work surface under the hood is illuminated by an energy-efficient LED light.

Flexible installation and two operating modes
The AMICA cooker hood offers two installation options to suit your kitchen's layout. For venting fumes out of the room, there is a top outlet with a diameter of 12cm. A backdraught flap is also included to prevent cold air from returning. If you don't have the option to vent outside, you'll appreciate the recirculation mode. In this setting, the air passes through a carbon filter, which removes odours, and is then returned clean to the kitchen. During installation, it is necessary to maintain a minimum distance of 65cm from a gas hob and 45cm from an electric one.
Effective filtration and simple controls
A pair of filters ensures the air is kept clean. The core component is an aluminium grease filter, which effectively captures grease and protects the internal parts of the appliance. For recirculation mode, a type FWU 50 carbon filter is used, which absorbs odours produced during cooking. The cooker hood is controlled using simple mechanical buttons, which allow you to select one of three power levels. The integrated 4W LED lighting with a luminous flux of 61 lux clearly illuminates the entire cooking surface.
