The Aquaphor PROVENCE jug with an indicator and the B100-5 replaceable filter module comes out on top when compared to the most modern filter jugs thanks to its patented combination of a fine mesh of granulated activated carbon from coconut shells, ion-exchange resins and Aqualen microfibre sorbent. The unique automatic indicator shows you exactly when you need to replace the filter cartridge. Unlike electronic calendars that only show the passage of time, this indicator counts litres. The unique sliding lid lets you pour water without the usual flap opening – just press the button and place the jug under the tap. The Aquaphor Provence jug can be used with various replacement cartridges: Aquaphor B100-5, Aquaphor B100-6 – same as B100-5 but also softens the water, and the Aquaphor A5 Mg2+ filter cartridge. Aquaphor filters remove all common unwanted substances from water, including mechanical impurities – sand, clay, rust, etc.; heavy metals (lead, mercury), phenol and petroleum products (benzene); active chlorine, chlorinated organic compounds (chloroform) and pesticides. The Provence filter jug offers 4 levels of filtration for maximum water purification.

2nd level of filtration – Aqualen

Aqualen is a patented fibre with two main properties: it effectively removes heavy metal ions from water. The Aqualen fibre binds the carbon together, which increases the filtration area. This also increases the cartridge life by 3× (compared to a standard cartridge).

3rd level of filtration – Active silver

Active silver is sprayed onto the patented Aqualen fibre. In conventional filters, the silver is located on the carbon, which does not have a stable surface, so it is quickly washed out into the filtered water. Since silver is a heavy metal, it becomes a harmful substance in large quantities. In Aquaphor filters, the silver is firmly fixed and performs its bactericidal function until the end of the cartridge's life.

4th level of filtration – Ion-exchange resin

The ion-exchange resin removes calcium and magnesium ions (excessive hardness) from the water.

Durable and elegant

The housing material – Eastman Tritan copolyester – combines the best of glass and plastic. Provence will remain as clear as the day you bought it, even after 100 cycles in the dishwasher. Tritan is completely safe for contact with food. Thanks to its round base, the Provence is more stable than conventional filter jugs. You won't be able to knock it over accidentally. If a child drops it, the jug will not break, which means Provence can be safely entrusted to a little helper.
