ARAVEN grid GN 1/2 WHITE
ARAVEN grid GN 1/2 WHITE
The ARAVEN GN 1/2 drain grid is an essential item in any kitchen where food is preserved. It is used for preserving foods that release juices, reducing spoilage-related losses. Fresh meat and fish release a liquid called exudate. Exudate contains nutrients and water that can encourage bacterial growth, which can pose a potential health risk. ARAVEN drain grids are designed to fit food containers (in both GN and other sizes) and drain away exudates, thereby maintaining the quality of the food.
Key features of the ARAVEN GN 1/2 grid, WHITE
- Drain grid
- Used for preserving foods that release juices
- The drain grid fits food containers (in both GN and other sizes) and is designed to drain away exudates
Proper food storage
Proper food storage requires the use of drain trays to separate the exudate from the food. The drain trays must be high enough to prevent the exudate from overflowing, and their design must avoid sharp edges, corners, and nooks where the exudate could accumulate. The drain tray is placed at the bottom of the container and helps drain liquids to the base, preventing contact between the liquid and the food and reducing the risk of bacterial growth.
