Fan design
The design of the ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse fan solves an aesthetic imperfection that arises when building PC cases. Standard fans draw air in from the front, so when used as intakes on the bottom or side of the case, their less attractive rear side with the frame and support struts is exposed. The reverse PC fan works the other way around, drawing air in from the rear. This means you can install it so that only the clean and uninterrupted surface of the rotor faces the inside of the build. You get a visually unified and clean look, which is important for builds with glass side panels where every detail matters.
Quiet operation and FDB bearing
The fluid dynamic bearing ensures quiet operation. Its design, with an extended shaft, distributes the load more evenly and uses an oil capsule to reduce physical contact between metal parts. This significantly reduces friction, vibration, and overall noise, especially at low to medium speeds. In addition, the motor is controlled by a SOTA microcontroller that suppresses low-frequency humming, compensates for minor power fluctuations, and protects the electronics from damage.
