The ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse fan is designed as a reverse PC fan for drawing air from the rear or bottom of the case. Its reversed airflow direction hides the fan's support arms, creating a visually clean installation when viewed from inside the build. This 120mm PWM fan operates over a wide speed range from 500 to 3000rpm. As a result, it provides quiet operation under low loads and a high airflow of 124.03m³/h for intensive cooling. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing reduces friction and vibration, contributing to its overall low operating noise. This quiet PC fan is an excellent choice for builds where both performance and aesthetics are a priority. Automatic speed control via a PWM signal adjusts the performance according to the current system temperatures. The fan supports zero RPM mode when the PWM signal is below 5%, contributing to silent operation under light loads.
The fan uses a funnel-shaped intake and teardrop-shaped blades. This design focuses the airflow and limits losses as it is channelled. The result is reduced air resistance, which contributes to a high static pressure of 4.5mmH2O. This focused airflow effectively penetrates dense dust filters and radiator fins. The blade design also limits turbulence and reduces aerodynamic noise across the entire speed spectrum.
The fan integrates a SOTA microcontroller that actively suppresses low-frequency motor noise and compensates for load fluctuations to maintain stable speeds. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing uses a thin film of oil to separate moving parts and has an extended shaft, ensuring quieter operation and low vibration. This design contributes to better pressure distribution in the bearing. In addition, integrated protection against current spikes and reverse polarity protects the fan's electronics from damage.
PST technology simplifies cable management and the synchronisation of multiple fans. The main 400mm cable is complemented by an 80mm connecting cable with a connector for daisy-chaining another fan. This way, you can connect several fans to a single 4-pin PWM header on the motherboard. A single PWM signal controls all connected fans, which unifies their speeds and simplifies setting up the cooling curve for the entire case or radiator.
