The computer case supports the installation of Intel or AMD processors, depending on the chosen motherboard with an Intel W880 or AMD B650 chipset. You can install up to four 5600MHz DDR5 memory modules of either ECC or non-ECC UDIMM type. The maximum RAM capacity is 256GB, which is sufficient for demanding computing tasks and multitasking.
Drive bay versatility
The internal space offers a wide range of options for connecting hard drives and SSDs. The system offers two hot-swap bays for 2.5" SATA drives with external access and two internal bays for 2.5" SATA or U.2 NVMe drives. It can also accommodate four internal 3.5" or 2.5" drives and uses M.2 slots with PCIe 5.0 ×4 interface support for fast storage media.
Graphics performance of the ASUS workstation
The motherboard includes PCI Express ×16 Gen 5.0 expansion slots for connecting add-in cards. You can install one dual-slot NVIDIA graphics card or one low-profile NVIDIA RTX card in the case. Power for these components is provided by an integrated 750W power supply with Gold certification.
Wide range of interfaces
The front and rear panels feature a rich set of ports for connecting peripheral devices. A total of three USB-C ports are available. There is also a Thunderbolt 4 interface supporting 8K video transfer at 60Hz, along with one HDMI port and an analogue VGA output.
ASUS ExpertCenter network functions
Fast network connectivity is provided by two Intel Ethernet ports with a speed of 2.5Gbps. For remote computer management, there is a dedicated 1Gbps Realtek port, which works with the integrated Aspeed AST2600 chip. The station supports tools for centralised management of computers on a corporate network, including ASUS Control Center Express software and Intel vPro technologies.
RAID support
The integrated controllers support RAID configurations to enhance the security of stored data. Intel Rapid Storage technology supports RAID array setups in 0, 1, 5 and 10 configurations for both SATA and PCIe interfaces. This protects your data from loss in the event of a hard drive failure and increases the reliability of the entire system.
