Choosing a power supply
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, the key parameter besides the form factor is its power output. This indicates the maximum number of Watts the PSU can continuously supply to the components in the computer. It's a good idea to use an online calculator to determine the optimal power based on your chosen components.
Advanced Axial-tech cooling and operation
The enlarged 120mm PWM-controlled fan guarantees low noise and keeps things cool at low speeds. ROG heatsinks not only ensure lower temperatures but also a longer component lifespan and extended 0dB operation. The Axial-tech fan has a smaller hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that directs air pressure downwards. To reduce noise, the PWM-controlled fan switches off completely when the PSU load drops to 40% or less. The dual ball bearings have a lifespan of 80000 hours.
Performance with ATX 3.1
Low-ESR Japanese capacitors improve efficiency and reduce heat, making the ROG Loki ready to reliably power your PC build. Upgraded PCIe connectors with high-quality thermal conductivity ensure cooler operation and better power efficiency, which supports optimal performance and stability for even the most demanding graphics cards. The compact SFX-L design measures 125×125×63.5mm. The included 16-pin cable can power up to 600W graphics cards via PCIe 5.1. ATX 3.1 provides stricter voltage and current regulation for your hardware.
Flexible cables and ARGB lighting
The Loki's fan features eight addressable LEDs that can be customised using Aura Sync to create synchronised lighting patterns across your entire build. The etched cables are made from a supple material, making them easy to bend during installation and operate at temperatures 50°C lower than the safety limit. These cables also meet strict flammability test standards, helping to ensure a safe and seamless DIY PC build.

80 Plus certification in the European market
The 80 Plus certification was created to objectively evaluate the efficiency of computer power supplies. This gives users a simple and clear way to compare different models. On the European market (where 230V is used), there are six levels of 80 Plus certification with set requirements for computer power supplies. Higher energy efficiency primarily means lower energy consumption.
| PC power supply load | Efficiency at 20% load | Efficiency at 50% load | Efficiency at 100% load |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80 PLUS | 82% | 85% | 82% |
| 80 PLUS Bronze | 85% | 88% | 85% |
| 80 PLUS Silver | 87% | 90% | 87% |
| 80 PLUS Gold | 90% | 92% | 89% |
| 80 PLUS Platinum | 92% | 94% | 90% |
| 80 PLUS Titanium | 94% | 96% | 94% |
