The ASUS STRIX SOAR is a premium sound card aimed for computer gamers. It features top-of-the-line sound components with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and advanced features. Enjoy the immensely detailed, 7.1-channel surround sound as if you were actually inside your gaming environment. You will even hear the quietest sounds that your opponents make, which will completely give away their position. In addition, the Sonic Radar application displays your opponents' positions during gameplay, making you always ready for their attacks so that you can have the upper hand over them.
The game applications are what makes this sound card extra special. With Sonic Radar, you can easily locate opponents, even if they are not in sight. You can also use a few basic radar enhancements to let you see and amplify specific sounds, such as steps, shots or screams. You can customise the appearance and position of the Sonic Radar on the screen exactly to suit your needs.
Premium technology takes care of top-quality audio processing. Among the technology is the fantastic ESS SABRE9006A D/A converter, whose signal-to-noise ratio and harmonic distortion epitomise characteristics of more valuable devices. Combined with advanced electromagnetic shielding methods, they deliver crystal clear sound without any distortion. To avoid degradation when playing headphones, ASUS STRIX SOAR is equipped with a high-quality, 600-Ohm, headphone amplifier. If you have a glass sidewall on your computer tower, you'll appreciate the card's flawless appearance and its orange backlight, which is stylised into the oval eye.
