This dual-band router fully utilises the WiFi 7 standard (802.11be) and remains backwardly compatible with older 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards. The total wireless speed is up to 3600Mb/s, which ensures smooth data transfer even for demanding network tasks. The 4K-QAM technology increases data transmission density by 20% compared to the previous WiFi 6 generation. MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 160MHz channels ensure stable signal distribution.
Mesh and coverage with ASUS AiMesh technology
The system works with ASUS AiMesh technology, which connects multiple compatible routers into one robust network under a single name. The three-piece set of units covers an area of up to 604m², reliably eliminating dead spots even in multi-storey houses. Four internal antennas and four high-performance front-end modules direct the signal evenly in all directions and maintain a stable connection for all moving devices.
Comprehensive network security
Home network protection is provided by commercial-grade AiProtection Pro from Trend Micro, which detects threats in real time. The system supports modern WPA3-Personal encryption as well as enterprise-grade WPA2-Enterprise. The Smart Home Master function separates networks into distinct segments for IoT gadgets and children's devices.

Wired connectivity options include modern high-speed ports for a stable backhaul network. The device has two 2.5Gb/s Ethernet ports that support automatic WAN/LAN detection.
