Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The ZenWifi BT10 model makes full use of the 802.11be standard, with a total transmission speed of up to 18Gb/s. Wireless operation takes place on three bands, which eliminates mutual signal interference. The speed on the 2.4GHz band reaches 688Mb/s. Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM technology significantly increase data transmission density and reduce latency during demanding network operations.
Mesh coverage of the ASUS ZenWiFi BT10 system
Smart AiMesh technology connects individual nodes into a single, stable network with a single name for the entire house. Two units of this system can cover an area of up to 560m², while a single standalone unit reliably covers a space of up to 280m². Intelligent roaming seamlessly switches mobile devices between nodes without interrupting downloads or streaming. Users can easily expand the network with any other compatible ASUS routers if needed.
Security and data protection
Data transmission is protected by modern WPA2-PSK, WPA2-Enterprise and WPA3 encryption standards. The integrated AiProtection Pro security system, with technology from Trend Micro, protects the network from external threats and blocks infected devices. A robust firewall is complemented by a flexible VPN server for secure remote connections. Additionally, the Smart Home Master feature allows you to create separate subnets for IoT devices and children's profile accounts with parental controls.
Connectivity options
High-speed ethernet ports on the back of the unit provide physical connections for your devices to the internet and local network. It includes one 10G WAN/LAN port, one dedicated 10G LAN port and one 1G WAN/LAN port for a flexible wired backhaul configuration. A high-speed port is used to connect external drives or a backup 4G/5G mobile modem. The entire system is powered by an external power adapter.
