Auraton Fenix SET Wireless Weekly Thermostat
The Auraton Fenix thermostat regulates the temperature in heating systems, such as boilers or underfloor heating. It operates wirelessly using 868MHz radio waves. The set includes the Auraton Fenix R wireless thermostat and an Auraton Fornax receiver, and it allows for weekly scheduling of temperature changes with hourly precision. The transmitter is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries, while the receiver connects directly to the 230V, 50Hz mains electricity. The temperature control range is from 4°C to 30°C, with adjustments in 0.2°C increments. Outside the heating season, the device can serve as a regular thermometer and clock thanks to its complete shutdown function. The backlit display makes it easy to read data even in dark rooms, and an integrated counter measures the total operating time of the connected heating device. Manual or holiday mode can be set for a period ranging from 1 hour to 99 days.

Signal transmission and receiver range
The wireless connection between the thermostat and the receiver operates at a frequency of 868MHz. The signal passes through the walls of standard buildings with a range of approximately 30m, while in open spaces, this distance extends up to 300m. The AURATON Fornax receiver features easy pairing with acoustic confirmation of a successful connection. It is mounted directly onto an electrical installation box, which helps to conceal the connecting cables.
Programming
The device features a total of 10 programmes, for which a different schedule can be set for each day of the week. Seven of these programmes offer customisation options to suit individual needs. The temperature can be set with hourly precision in a range from 4 to 30°C. This lets users plan energy savings during their absence.
Backup programme and operating temperatures
The AURATON Fornax receiver records operating parameters from the last 24 hours using an integrated algorithm. In case of a wireless signal interruption, the receiver automatically continues with the stored programme, preventing rooms from suddenly getting cold. On the front, there is a mechanical switch for servicing. The output can be wired as either voltage-free or live. The regulation system operates with three preset temperatures: comfort, economy, and anti-frost. The temperature adjustment step is 0.2°C, while the regulation accuracy is either 0.2°C or 0.4°C. The anti-frost temperature is permanently set at 7°C to protect the heating system from frost damage.
