Auraton Vela thermoelectric actuator M30 × 1,5 NC 230V
The Auraton Vela thermostatic actuator is designed for installation on underfloor heating manifolds to regulate the flow of water in the heating system. The device operates on the normally closed (NC) principle and responds to commands from connected thermostats. The thermoelectric actuator operates with a 230V AC power supply at a frequency of 50Hz. Its compact 46×43×33mm design facilitates installation in the confined space of manifold cabinets. The actuator housing meets the IP40 protection rating, which indicates resistance to the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm. The device operates in a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C, covering common conditions in utility rooms. The 95cm connection cable has wires with a cross-section of 2×0.5mm² for electrical wiring. The screw fitting makes it easy to attach to the corresponding valves.

Thermostatic head for manifolds
The actuator uses a standard M30×1.5mm thread for installation on the relevant valves of underfloor heating manifolds. The screw fitting simplifies attachment directly to the valve body without needing special tools. The Auraton Vela device replaces the older Auraton TE 230-30 PRO product line and fully takes over its functional tasks in the heating system. The product is suitable for integration into both existing and newly built underfloor heating systems.
Operating parameters and automation
The actuator generates a compressive force of 100N, which overcomes the resistance of the internal valve. The actuator stroke is 3.6mm for fully opening and closing the flow. The force of the internal spring is 90N with a tolerance of up to 10%. The initial start-up current does not exceed 250mA, while the operating current drops below 15mA. The Auraton Vela can be connected to underfloor heating wiring centres and room thermostats of the same brand to create a zoned control system. The system then regulates the temperature in individual rooms according to set time schedules. During operation, the actuator is very quiet and runs smoothly without causing any shocks in the pipework. The device's power consumption during stable operation does not exceed 3.5W.
