Autoprofi Foam Cleaner DPF/KAT 400ml

This effective 400ml Autoprofi DPF/CAT Foam is designed to clean and protect your DPF filter and catalytic converter. It is suitable for both diesel and petrol engines. It dissolves deposits and is very easy to apply. The cleaner also helps with the maintenance of valves and pressing machines, for example. It is suitable for all closed DPF/FAP systems and catalytic converters, or EGR valves and disassembled components contaminated with soot, and can also be used in industry (maintenance of pressing machines, etc.).

Instructions for use:
Before cleaning, check the engine oil level; if it is contaminated with diesel, the oil must be changed. Shake well for 1 minute before use! Remove the temperature/pressure sensor or lambda sensor (depending on the filter type). Insert the tube through the resulting opening and spray inside at 5-second intervals until the filter is completely full of foam. Then, reinstall the sensor and return everything to its original state. Start the regeneration process via diagnostics. Then, clear all existing errors and perform a test drive for 20 minutes. For optimal recovery after cleaning, it is recommended to add DPF Cleaner to the tank after the test drive for a DPF filter, or Catalytic Converter and Lambda Sensor Cleaner for a catalytic converter. If the filter is more than 60% clogged, it is recommended to use DPF Flush.

Warning:
For petrol vehicle owners: the product can also be used for petrol vehicles, but due to the absence of a particulate filter (as is the case with most cars so far), it is not possible to start regeneration. Therefore, the effectiveness of the product may be reduced due to the lack of regeneration (i.e., controlled creation of the required temperature). (The temperature can also be reached by a test drive at higher revs, but this is an uncontrolled process with all its consequences).
