The EXIDE Premium 47Ah, 12V, EA472 car battery with Carbon Boost 2.0 charges up to 2× faster than other conventional batteries, thanks to Exide's special application of carbon additives on the negative plates. It withstands extreme temperatures and handles intensive city driving. The improved carbon additives combine an optimised surface structure with significantly better conductivity, which allows for better current flow within the battery and leads to an excellent ability to accept charge. It also helps to dissolve the lead sulphate deposits that usually form on the negative plate when the battery is discharged, which reduces its ability to recharge effectively.
