The GYS GYSCAP jump starter is a professional solution for starting petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles. It uses supercapacitor technology, which means it works without an internal battery and requires no maintenance. The starter is equipped with a special EV Rescue mode that safely wakes up the 12V system of hybrid and electric vehicles. Thanks to its ultra-fast recharging directly from the vehicle's battery, the booster is always ready to use and allows for an unlimited number of starts.

Modes for modern and older vehicles
The GYS starter offers specialised modes for different situations. In hybrid and electric vehicles (HEV, PHEV, EV), the auxiliary 12V battery powers the control units. If it is discharged, the vehicle cannot be activated. The EV Rescue mode solves this problem by supplying a regulated voltage of 14.0V (adjustable from 12.0V to 16.0V) with the current limited to 50A. This safely restores power to the 12V system. For internal combustion engines, there is an SOS mode that helps ensure a successful start even in the case of a deeply discharged lead-acid or LFP lithium battery.
Safety and durable construction
Maximum protection for the vehicle's electronics is a key priority during use. The ECU Memory Protect function automatically adjusts the booster's recharging to protect both the battery and the data in the control units. The power draw is regulated to 50A, which protects the alternator from overload. It naturally includes protection against reverse polarity, short-circuited clamps, undervoltage, and overvoltage. For fieldwork, the starter is equipped with a reinforced plastic casing, fully insulated brass clamps, and 100% copper cables with a length of 1.7m.
