More channels, more communication
The PNI PMR R70 PRO portable radio is a communication tool within everyone's reach. Using the PMR 446MHz frequency does not require a licence and is available for both business and personal use in most countries of the European Union. Communication in the frequency range 446.00625–446.19375MHz (16 channels) is commonly used for recreation, outdoor activities, on construction sites, or for communication within the same building (warehouses, supermarkets).
More users, variable distance
Depending on the surrounding terrain, the range can vary from a few hundred metres (in the city) to several kilometres (open space). In addition, PMR446 stations can also be used by radio amateurs and radio enthusiasts as an experimental band, without a licence. We created this walkie-talkie to combine all the important functions into a free-to-use product that allows users, whether professional or not, young or old, to communicate freely. The PNI PMR R70 PRO scans all frequencies within a maximum radius of 10km, monitors two channels simultaneously (dual watch), and transmits and receives efficiently. The Roger Beep function covers the noise at the end of the conversation.
PC programming option
The functions of the PNI PMR R70 PRO station can be customised using the programming software (the PNI PSR70 programming cable is purchased separately). You can customise features such as the Time-out Timer, Squelch level, voice prompt, power saving, display colour and lighting intensity. You have up to 99 channels available for private conversations.
IP67 protection class
The PNI PMR R70 PRO portable radio is 100% protected against dust and sand and the station has been tested to operate for at least 30 minutes underwater (submerged to a maximum of 1m).
Warning:
To ensure the radio station is insulated from moisture, make sure that the screw that secures the cover on the back of the station and the sealing cap that insulates the 3.5mm jack for the external speaker are tightly screwed on.
Desktop charger included
The PNI PMR R70 PRO portable radio package contains everything you need for quick use: radio station, antenna, 1,800mAh battery, belt clip, desktop charger. To charge, connect the station to the desktop charger; connect the power supply to a 230V source and the LED on the charger will light up red while charging and will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
